the colouring/lighting on the Harry and Ginny icons are solid!! How'd you make them?

You have to work the layer with Harry and the layer with Ginny separate. Don't join them together.

Also I cut out Harry, and while I kept the original picture of Ginny, I also copy/paste it then cut the background out so I could make changes to the background without changing Ginny.

- Sharpen base of image (Harry or Ginny)
- Copy then paste three times
- The top layer set to Soft Light then Desaturate
- The layer below that set to Screen and change the Opacity (20% for Harry; 25% for Ginny)
- The layer below that use a Gaussian Blur with the Radius at 0.5. Now on that layer zoom in and cut away the eyes, nostrils, and lips/mouth.
- In the base layer for Harry or Ginny change the Colour Balance. I can't remember the numbers I used but I only changed the Midtones and Highlights.

Then I just added shapes using the Elliptical Marquee tool and setting them to Screen, Exclusion and Linear Light. WIth the last shape going on a layer behind the cut outs of Harry and Ginny - but over the top of the original base.

Did I make it sound too complicated? Sorry if I did!

Although I'm not a H/G shipper, the icons are gorgeous!

Pretty!!

Snagged H/G and Ginny icon. Using R/Hr,H/G, and OBHWF colorbars.

Hmm..do you think you could make the actor/actresses of HP colorbars? Just a suggestion :)

As usual all the stuff posted on here is meant for everyone's use! :D

OBHWF stands for One Big Happy Weasley Family. It's the term used usually when describing Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione shipping being side by side.
